RANAS was kind enough to host a Meet the Author event during their lunch and dinner hours. I met quite a few interesting folks, including former Oakland Raider star Ben Davidson. Sadly, Ben passed away a few weeks after the event. Overall it was an enjoyable time that not allowed me to chat with a lots of folks but also afforded my home town of Casa de Oro to meet one of their own that somehow managed to produce a book that is being well received (see my reviews on Amazon).

Thanks to the Main Street 5 Gallery folks, especially the owner - Esther Beisch, "Ain't No Bum" was released to the public in grand style. It was a well attended event that will be remembered by the author as a high point in his writing endeavors. If sales are as robust as they were that night I am sure this book will be soon be noticed by more than the event attendees.
